Hello hello! First off, to all my fellow Torontonians how amazing has this weather been lately? Finally getting some of that sun and warm weather feeling bleeeeessssseddd.
I had gotten back from Texas after a lil too much drinking (can’t help it they had beer pong everywhere) and I felt like I had betrayed my body a little bit. All that southern comfort food and the hangovers kinda got to me and left me in a bit of a slump. SOOO.. first stop when I got back? Whole Life Balance of course!!
If you haven’t checked out the “Where to Eat, Feel Better and Have Fun in Toronto” post then you’ve missed out on me raving about this little piece of heaven found at 793 King Street West in Toronto.
So let me tell y’all about Whole Life Balance.
Whole Life Balance is a bit of a one stop shop for your wellbeing. They’ve got everything from DRIP IV therapy, a variety of yoga classes including aerial yoga, massage therapy, acupuncture, B12 shots, cupping, nutritionists, and so much more.
It’s not even all about the services they offer, the ambiance there and the staff make it this whole magical experience. It’s like you walk in and you’re leaving your whole world full of worries behind. Such a calming loving experience.
So me and my homeslice Dani, who you see me go everywhere with ran on over to WLB to pretty much come back to life.
We were greeted by the lovely Sandra Weber, one of the owners at WLB – also a holistic nutritionist and author. Words can’t even begin to describe Sandra. You really have to meet her yourself. She’s this beautiful beam of light, truly an inspiring woman. Sandra introduced us to the amazing being behind Irie Soul, Stacy. Stacy is a certified yoga teacher as well as meditation guide and lifestyle coach. She holds a variety of retreats as well as offering private one-on-one consultations/services. She holds such a special energy that anyone around her feels automatically at peace. Not having any experience doing aerial yoga before, her patience and guidance is what got us through it. She made the whole experience light and fun. We ended off with a deep relaxing guided Savasana where she walked around with sage burning, bringing us to such a peaceful state. The experience left us in awe and on such a life-high.
You can check out Stacy’s website here as well as her instagram here. She shares her little nuggets of wisdom all over her page as well as keeps you up to date on her upcoming events/retreats.
Sandra then set us up in the IV lounge with our nurse. GUYS I’m so bad with needles. You’d think that with the amount of tatts I have that I wouldn’t be such a baby but there’s something about a needle going into my vein that just freaks me out. All the nurses at WLB are all ER nurses so they know what they’re doing and they just talk you through it so perfectly. I calmed down in a heartbeat. So to all of you who sent me a message asking me if I was okay, yes guys this is actually a way to get vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly to your body for maximum absorption nourishing you on a cellular level = feel better faster. No I was not at the hospital dying haha.

Your mood is lifted and the effects keep on going for days after the drip. On a nutritional level, you reap the benefits for weeks.
Least to say Whole Life Balance has become my second home. It is my little piece of heaven. Sandra and Chris, thank you for always being such role models and inspirations and sharing your knowledge with me. I’m not kidding when I say that you will leave with place with a smile, a warm heart and a deep appreciation for life. It’s a whole experience.. not just a one stop shop.
Send me a message if you get a chance to visit this wonderful place! I wanna hear about your experience.
To my WLB Family, I am forever grateful for having met such caring souls. Thank you for the wisdom, I have so much love for you all.. see you very soon 🙂
