Sun, pool, beaches and reunited once again with my love! The hockey season is over and I couldn’t be more excited to spend time with this guy!! Last time we were in Cape Coral it was for Christmas with his family and it was just a dream. This time around, no hockey just complete relaxation and exploring. This area of Florida is so peaceful and breathtaking.
Cape Coral Yacht Club Beach & Board Walk
This beach area is pretty small and is nothing compared to the other beaches the Cape Coral area has to offer but the board walk that comes with it is beautiful. We went running here in the mornings and it is just so peaceful. Kind of reminds me of a smaller version of the Huntington Beach board walk. Super cute activity to do on a warm day.
We always have such a good time here even though I’m the worst at mini-golf. This cute little course includes a spot to feed the baby alligators. Fun thing to do if you’re visiting with family or a loved on.
Sven likes to think he’s the best at this game but I gotta say I did pretty good on this one.
Unfortunately we did not get to see any manatees that day but it’s a nice place if you want to rent a kayak or a canoe and paddle along the river with the chance to spot some Manatees or some alligators.
Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill
Ahhh I’m so obsessed with the feels of this place! It reminds me so much of where my parents live in Wasaga Beach. Lovely little beach bar facing the ocean including live music and sea food. I took a nice walk here to grab a beer facing the lovely winds coming from the ocean and it was beyond relaxing. Definitely my favorite spot and it is located right next to the boardwalk I mentioned above.
If you’ve ever been to Fort Myers/Cape Coral area let me know what you like to do there for activities! Tell me about your favorite spots! Can’t wait until my next adventure with this amazing human being. Until next time Cape Coral!
